Fenton, Missouri is a St. Louis suburb with a population of about 4,000 residents according to a 2010 census by the United States Census Bureau. The city, located in St. Louis County, is said to have been inhabited for over 900 years. The territory in which Fenton sits was occupied by Native Americans and settlers in the 1700s. In 1818, Fenton was established by William Lindsay Long and the city was incorporated in 1948.
