Frontenac is a wealthy suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. The city is located about 13 miles west of downtown St. Louis. Frontenac derives it named from Louis de Buade, Comte de Frontenac et de Palluau, which means the Count of Frontenac in English. The Count was a French courtier and the Governor of New France. Today, Frontenac is home to about 3,400 residents. The city has an average household income of $119,508.

Frontenac is a city that is full of many points of interest including historic landmarks, award-winning restaurants, and various high-end retailers. The Old Des Peres Presbyterian Church and Cemetery was the first church of its kind located west of the Mississippi River. Built in 1832, the church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Frontenac is also home to more than 250 businesses. The businesses are predominantly located in Frontenac’s two commercial areas, the Clayton Road Corridor and the Lindbergh Boulevard Commercial Corridor.
